Aid Registry, Inc. is a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation recognized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 42-2224867). Aid Registry facilitates charitable giving by:
- Allowing verified charities to create campaigns requesting goods
- Enabling donors to contribute funds toward those campaigns
- Purchasing and delivering goods to charities on behalf of donors
The Platform is operated in the United States. Charity registration is currently limited to organizations that hold valid U.S. tax-exempt status recognized by the Internal Revenue Service. Aid Registry does not currently register or onboard charities based outside the United States.
All donations are made to Aid Registry, Inc., which retains full discretion and control over the use of funds consistent with its tax-exempt charitable mission.

2. Who Uses the Platform
The Platform is used by three types of users:
- Visitors — browse the Platform without creating an account
- Donors — contribute funds to campaigns
- Charity Users — registered charities that create campaigns and receive goods
By using the Platform in any capacity, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal authority to agree to these Terms.
3. Donations
3.1 Nature of Donations
All donations are made directly to Aid Registry, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and not to individual charities. By donating, you acknowledge that Aid Registry holds and directs all funds in furtherance of its charitable mission.
3.2 Use of Funds
Donated funds are used to:
- Purchase goods for active campaigns
- Cover reasonable operational costs associated with fulfilling campaigns
- Support Aid Registry’s broader charitable mission where campaign-specific use is not possible
3.3 No Refunds
All donations are final and non-refundable once submitted. If a campaign is modified, expires, or is removed, Aid Registry will apply funds in accordance with the campaign’s expiration settings (see Section 4) or, where no specific outcome applies, to support similar charitable purposes or Aid Registry’s general mission.
3.4 Optional Platform Contribution
You may optionally add a contribution to support Aid Registry’s operations. This contribution is voluntary, is a donation to Aid Registry, Inc., and is tax-deductible to the same extent as any other donation under our 501(c)(3) status.
3.5 Tax Receipts and Deductibility
Aid Registry, Inc. is recognized as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN: 42-2224867). Donations to Aid Registry may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. You will receive a written acknowledgment of your contribution for tax purposes following each donation. Aid Registry does not provide individual tax advice; please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your specific contribution.
4. Campaigns
Charities may create campaigns requesting specific goods. When creating a campaign, the charity selects a campaign type and, where applicable, configures the campaign’s expiration behavior at the time of creation. Campaign type selections are final once the campaign is published and may not be changed after launch.
4.1 Evergreen Campaigns
An evergreen campaign has no expiration date and remains active indefinitely until the charity closes it or Aid Registry removes it in accordance with these Terms.
4.2 Time-Limited Campaigns
A time-limited campaign has a charity-selected expiration date. At the time of campaign creation, the charity must choose one of the following outcomes in the event the campaign reaches its expiration date in a partially funded state:
(a) Extension Option
If the Extension Option is selected, a partially funded campaign will automatically extend for an additional period as configured by the charity at the time of creation, allowing further contributions toward the full campaign goal. If the campaign remains partially funded at the end of the extension period, Aid Registry will apply the collected funds in accordance with Section 3.3.
(b) Partial Fulfillment Option
If the Partial Fulfillment Option is selected, Aid Registry will use the funds collected as of the expiration date to purchase a proportional portion of the requested goods to the extent possible given vendor availability and then-current pricing. Aid Registry will make reasonable efforts to fulfill as much of the campaign as the available funds allow.
4.3 Substitutions and Alternatives
Regardless of campaign type, if specific requested goods become unavailable, Aid Registry reserves the right to substitute goods of equivalent or greater value or to coordinate alternative arrangements in consultation with the charity. Aid Registry will make reasonable efforts to communicate substitutions to the charity in advance.
4.4 Donor Disclosure
The campaign type (evergreen or time-limited) and the selected expiration outcome will be disclosed to donors at the time of contribution so that donors understand how their funds may be applied.
5. Fulfillment & Delivery
Aid Registry purchases goods through third-party vendors on behalf of charities. Aid Registry serves as the point of contact for fulfillment issues and will work with vendors to resolve problems on behalf of charities and donors. Aid Registry does not manufacture products and does not control shipping carriers.
Aid Registry does not guarantee:
- Specific delivery timing
- Continuous product availability
- The condition of goods upon delivery by third-party carriers
In the event of a shipping or product issue, please contact Aid Registry at [email protected]. Aid Registry will coordinate with the relevant vendor to seek a resolution, though outcomes are subject to vendor policies and availability.
6. Charity Responsibilities
Charities using the Platform agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in their campaign and registration materials
- Use all goods received solely for charitable, mission-aligned purposes
- Confirm receipt of delivered goods in a timely manner
- Provide updates, photos, or documentation as reasonably requested by Aid Registry
- Maintain their tax-exempt status (if applicable) and promptly notify Aid Registry of any change in status
Failure to comply with these responsibilities may result in campaign suspension, account removal, or other action at Aid Registry’s discretion.
7. Charity Verification
Aid Registry may verify certain information provided by charities, such as confirming tax-exempt status via EIN lookup with the IRS. Such verification confirms only that the organization appears in IRS records as tax-exempt; it does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the charity’s legitimacy, operations, or future performance. Aid Registry does not independently audit charities.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Platform to:
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
- Commit fraud or facilitate fraudulent activity

- Suspend or terminate any user’s access to the Platform

Upon suspension or termination of a campaign or account, any collected funds will be reallocated to support Aid Registry’s tax-exempt charitable purposes consistent with its 501(c)(3) status and these Terms.
10. Donor Recognition
Donors may choose to have their name displayed publicly or to donate anonymously. Aid Registry will make reasonable efforts to honor recognition preferences but does not guarantee the display, accuracy, or continued availability of donor recognition features.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Aid Registry, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
- Any acts or omissions of third-party vendors, shipping carriers, or other third parties
- Loss, damage, or non-delivery of goods
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind
- Any reliance placed on information provided by charities on the Platform
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability; in such jurisdictions, Aid Registry’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Durham County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
